In a world where personal vision is discouraged by mass media, I enjoy the challenge of producing images by what some people see as archaic methods.

Ink, paper, paint, are to me, stronger and more interesting than electronic images that have no time-line, are dependant upon machines, and have no existence if the electricity supply is turned off. I try to interpret the tales, scenery and atmosphere of Ireland by the print techniques of woodcuts and engravings.
