'My printmaking addresses the reconstruction of architectural forms in an effort to grasp the invisible sensation of being in a physical space. The environments we engage in are most often imprinted in us through the passive engagement of daily routines. The repetitive actions of entering the same door, traveling from one part of a building to another down a similar series of hallways, or navigating a neighborhood by well-practiced turns and rests at the same street corners are internally absorbed into our body memory even though we take little time to observe consciously the environment through which we pass. As a result, place becomes silently interwoven into our sense of self with the powerful capability of influencing our actions and perceptions.'
